A Pop-up Installation by Collette LaRue
Collette LaRue explores the human imprint on the waters and surrounding lands of Green Bay, the largest freshwater estuary in the world. Juxtaposing recently created imagery with historical maps and artifacts, LaRue examines the past-present relationship amongst the planet’s existential natural resource, fresh water.
Emily Tyner, Director of Freshwater Strategy, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, will be on hand to answer questions regarding the proposed NERR (National Estuarine Research Reserve) designation. In addition, visitors of all ages can create their own imprint on newARTSpace community art wall.
