A Vintage Theater production under the direction of Michael Laskowski of “A Picasso” written by Jeffrey Hatcher takes place at newARTspace.  It is a historical fiction play set during World War II.  Pablo Picasso is arrested by the SS. While being detained he’s forced to authenticate 3 paintings that are presumably by him for a public forum. But he eventually learns that the paintings are planning to be publicly burned and so he engages in a desperate cat/mouse game with the Nazi officer in hopes to save his paintings.
