Lynn Gilchrist

Lynn Gilchrist finds meaning and mystery in the woods.  Her time spent running, exploring, and painting outdoors informs the paintings she creates in the studio. She has described her work as investigating the inner lives of animate and inanimate objects, suggesting that we humans can learn and find kinship from humbly approaching nature. She imagines the trees having their own silent language to which humans should listen. The unhurried dance of nature can connect us all.
