Each year, ARTS for ALL issues a Call for Art inviting all Wisconsin artists with disabilities to submit artwork for review by a jury of arts professionals, who look for originality, creativity, and artistry of medium. Ten pieces are chosen as winners, and then added to the CreativePower exhibit. The exhibition generates increased public awareness of the artistic and creative talents of artists with disabilities and is viewed by an estimated 10,000 people each year. ARTS for ALL Wisconsin was founded in 1985 as Very Special Arts Wisconsin with the mission to expand the capabilities, confidence, and quality of life for children and adults with disabilities throughout Wisconsin by providing programs in dance, drama, creative writing, music, and visual art.
